Seamless Scrolling landscape image

Hi, I hope someone can help me with this project.

I want to create a seamless landscape imagescrolling across the screen, it
should continually scroll from right to left at a slow speed. When the user
moves the mouse over a button on the right hand side of the screen I want the
image to scroll from left to right and at a faster speed and when the user
rolls over a button on the left the image should scroll from right to left at a
faster speed. As soon as the mouse moves off either of the buttons the image
should return to scrolling from right to left at a slow speed.

I'm familiar with action script and have created similiar scrolling images
from tutorials but I cant find anything like this, can you help

I think you might find http://mannometer.homeip.net/flash/endless_mc.html
useful. It's basically the thing you want, you'll just have to add the buttons
which should change SCROLLSPEED onRollOver and onRollOut.

what actionscript do you use to change the speed of the movie clip on rollover?

Basically, it's just a change of SCROLLSTEP, but if you want it to scroll
automatically, there are some more changes needed. Check out the

Sorry about this but after changing your .fla file to feature my seamless
landscape image i've noticed that I get a black line between the original and
duplicated image.

Whats causing it?
Can this be removed?
