How can I pause video with cue points?

I am looking for a simple code to pause my video using Event cue points embedded in the video. The instance of the FLVPlayback is named vid. The embedded Event cue points are named; pause1, pause2, pause3, pause4.

Flash doesn't play on web server...

I am using flash CS3 Pro and Dreamweaver CS3 to build a website. When I view the page on my localhost, it plays just fine. When I upload the files to the web server, it does not work. Any ideas?

Using classes- import fl.video.FLVPlayback; import fl.video.VideoEvent; I set the source of a player instance to "chapter1.f4v" connecting to a local file of the same name. Doesn't play. Doesn't error. But, if I rename it in the script, and rename the file to chapter.flv, it plays. Kooky. I don't like workarounds unless they're absolutely necessary. Most of the time... more »

flash CS3 export to quicktime bug

I have a 15 second flash animation that I am trying to export out of Flash CS3 (mac/G5 tower) as a quicktime movie. The problem is upon viewing the .mov file it is now almost double in length. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make my animated gifs look great from flash. I have exported the layered psd files as pngs, jogs, gifs, bitmaps, you name, I have done it, BUT to no avail.
