I reasently purchased a Casio Men's Sea Analog Illuminator Dual LED Dive Watch #MDV102-1AV from Amazon.com, and let me tell you that I am really satisfied with my purchase and for the speed in which everything was done. Thank you Amazon.com. I love my new watch. A very satisfied customer...;)
I got this watch specifically for diving and it hasn't let me down. I have taken it as far as 100ft and it still works perfectly. Besides looking good, all-in-all it is a good watch though the bezel takes a little work to turn while wearing thick dive gloves.
To begin with, I don't dive at all but my primary watch is a Rolex Sea-Dweller, received as a company longevity award a few years ago. I own several much less valuable watches, just for variety, and bought this Casio Sea Analog Illuminator specifically to take on my recent trip to the Philippines, where a very valuable watch can be a theft target. I was attracted by the water resistance, the ruggedness, and the understated good looks of this watch, and when it arrived I was impressed also by both the comfort and the attention to detail, as well as the illumination feature. Upon arriving in the Philippines, one of my relatives was so taken by it that he asked me to make it a gift to him, which I did. Before departing Cebu I fired up Amazon.com and had another one waiting for me when I got off the plane back home. I love my Rolex - don't get me wrong - but I wasn't about to be without this little gem for the days I just want a light, comfortable, masculine watch which isn't too big for my small wrist. Very accurate and easy to set. Get one (or two) - you can't beat it for under $100 - let alone under $50.
It is better than a g-shock, and the band is ok, if the case was brushed or not shiny, this watch will be perfect
The Casio Men's Sea Analog was exactly the watch I was looking for. It proved to be water proof while snorkling and shallow diving, and looks great! I have medium large wrists(7.25"), and the watch fits well. Some one with very large wrists will have problems getting the band to fit properly.
