Is anyone having the issue where email just decides to stop sending from
coldfusion? It will process just fine for months at a time, then just stop.
The only way I have found to make email start processing again is to reboot the
server.

Nothing in the logs mention any errors or problems. Also the mailsent log
stops updating until the server reboot. I am running ColdFusion 8 with all
appropriate updates on a Windows 2003 Enterprise server with all available
windows updates.

Any ideas on how I can find out whats breaking or how to correct?

Anything will be greatly appreciated.

Danny,

I'm having the same problem with my CF8. Did you find a solution to
the problem? I was thinking about contacting Adobe, to see if their
is a hotfix for this.

Thanks,
Raed

I have the same problem with CF7. Searching the forums for an answer, but the
only thing I can come up with is restarting the CF Application service (you
don't have to reboot the server).

It can work for days or months with no problem, the I will have a few days
were I can constantly restarting. No rhyme or reason.

We are having the same problem. It has been going on for weeks now -
forcing me to reboot at least once per day. Has anyone seen a
solution for this problem yet?

Thanks,
Bill

I'm having the same problem with CF 8 on Windows 2005 w/ IIS. No
solutions found so far. There are no errors in the logs, it just
spools mail until I reboot the server and then it all sends without a
problem for a while. I'd love to get this one fixed, the clients
really hate it when email stops flowing.
Thanks,
-Kevin
