We've moved our Trac / SVN to a new account at Codesion which allowed
us to have custom domains as well as expanded services. Be sure to
update your bookmarks now!

* Trac -> http://trac.mach-ii.com/machii
* SVN -> http://svn.mach-ii.com/machii

If you previously had an user account for Trac, you will be getting a
new email with your user and password information. Check your email
inbox for information or if we forgot please send me an email. If you
don't have credentials, we'd love to see you showing the commitment
that means we can make you a committer and have you join in all the
fun.

* Understanding Open Source -- Cameron Riley -> http://is.gd/bO4ph

Team Mach-II will now be blogging at Posterous. This will make
blogging easier for us as well add heavier integration to social
services. We'll leave our old blog up for archival purposes (a link
to the archive is included in our "About Us" section below).
Posterous has a blogging platform and nice features for group and
community blogging so we'll be soliciting for posts from our great
community. We'll talk about it more in a future blog post.

Happy Mach-II-ing!

Peter, would you consider creating a repository spot for user created
contributions like plugins, filters, and even cache strategy
implementations?

I wouldn't mind doing that. However, if it's a useful component /
package...I'd prefer pulling it into the main release so everybody can
enjoy.

For cache strategy implementations, I'd love to see things like
connectors for MemCache, EhCache, or even Railo's built-in caching
Mach-II connect to those directly.

Typically, we buddy / peer code so more than likely community
contributions will be looked over by a Team Mach-II member. More
complex things I know the team would love to discuss it on the Mach-II
developers list which is for Mach-II development.

The Mach-II Project is not a closed door. We welcome community
involvement on all levels. Simple contributions can be on this list or
wiki, testing code, writing sample application, etc. More complex stuff
is helping with framework code / documentation directly.

Best,
.Peter

Well, I was thinking I'd contribute the successFilter I created (I
posted most of its code in another discussion). Make it easily
available. I suppose I could upload it to the wiki too, along with an
bit of an article if you rather that. But thats what I was thinking at
the moment...
