Hello all,
Apologies for not letting messages through. A bunch have queued up but
Google Groups refuses to let me "accept" them on the moderation
screen.
I have fixed Macfusion in SVN to the point where it compiles and runs,
but I am still seeing a freeze on startup. Something has changed in
10.6.3 in Distributed Objects and has broken Macfusion. This looks
like an Apple bug, and I am getting it looked at as soon as possible.
Just wanted to write you all to keep you up to date. My apologies: I
know that people are using this for work, and this is a major
inconvenience.

Hello all,
I am overdue for an update: I still cannot identify the source of the
current freeze I am hitting on the version of Macfusion on SVN.
However, a very kind and very smart Macfusion user (Jon Nall) has
branched off a slightly earlier version of the code and created a
fully working build for 10.6.3.

It can be found here:
http://github.com/downloads/nall/MacFusion2/Macfusion-2.0.4-SL.zip

The build is unsigned, because I was not the one to compile it.
However, I have taken a look at the code and used it on my machine,
and everything appears to work fine.
I just wanted to get this out to the list. If everyone finds this
build to work Ok, I will post it to Macfusion's main website until the
trunk works correctly.

A signed 2.0.4 build is now uploaded to the website and to the update
feed. This is pretty much the same as the build I posted on this
group.

Thanks, Michael!

I haven't got round to testing SSHFS or CurlFtpFS connections yet, but the agent launches fine.

Here, using MacFUSE 2.1.5 (beta), and the 64-bit preference pane <http://groups.google.com/group/macfuse/files>, on 64-bit Snow Leopard with a 32-bit kernel.

Kind regards
Graham
