Mounting Hard Drive via ftp

Hi,

I'm trying to mount a hard drive that is connected to my router at
home. On Windows PCs this is not a problem at all and works easily via
the Explorer.

The Finder on the Mac only supports read access, so I was directed to
Macfusion. But whenever I try to connect to the hard drive, I get the
following message:
"Could not mount filesystem: Mount process has terminated
unexpectedly."

Maybe I'm just making some simple mistake here...
I've tried a lot, but here's what seems to be the right settings:

Host: ftp://192.168.XXX.XXX/
Path: ftp://192.168.XXX.XXX/WDCWD30-XXX-XXX-01

Is there anything I'm missing?

I'm using Macfusion Version 2.0.3, MacFUSE 2.0.3,2, Mac OSX 10.6.2
