  I am sorry we are talking about different items. There was a Quadra &lt;br&gt; 630 DOS that had a DOS card built in. OrangeMicro made a model 630 PCI &lt;br&gt; DOS.   Bill the Performa LC quadra 630 doscard has 486 technology. 486 CPU sokets &lt;br&gt; can only take cyrix 5x86 or other 5x86 chips. 5x86 chips are like pentium &lt;br&gt; ones but made by cyrix. &lt;br&gt; You can Not upgrade the Performa quadra LC 630doscard to a pentium 3 you can &lt;br&gt; damage the cpu soket or worst the doscard. 486 cpu sokets don&#39;t have fans

  These pre g3 powermacs are extreamly rare in australia even g3s g4s g4s too. &lt;br&gt; I live in australia. Ive never seen people give away thses machines. The &lt;br&gt; only machines I see people give away are pentiums 1s and 2s 3s. &lt;br&gt; Can anyone create a 86x pc compabilty cards for powermac G3s G4s G5s.   I was using an Orange Micro in my 9600. It worked OK until I upgraded &lt;br&gt; the PC processor and went to 9.2.2. The processor upgrade was supposed &lt;br&gt; to be legal. Came with fresh &lt;br&gt; install of 10.4. Am buying an OS 9 disk so it can run &#39;Classic&#39; &lt;br&gt; programs, which was a key reason to buy it. &lt;br&gt; With 1 GHz processor, am thinking it may be able to handle an emulator.
