hi! just wondering (naive question) - is there any difference between running windows 7 (via boot camp) in a macbook pro retina and running it in a mac mini? apart from the better display etc. in other words, will windows/pc apps behave differently at all in a retina, anyone know?
thanks!

Stephen,

This list addresses Mac, as in OSX, specific issues and anything related to using Windows on a Mac machine is better addressed in the MacSwitch list.

Thank you for your understanding.

I don't have any device (whether Mac or iPad) with a Retina display,
but I've seen reports Wordfast Pro for Mac looks awful on a Retina
display. So there could be problems even with *native* applications,
not just Windows ones. Maybe some applications need to be
re-written/adapted in order to fully support / take advantage of
Retina displays.

Cheers,

Dominique
