CAT tools

Hello Nathalie,
I’ve been using Wordfast since it was free (a while ago now...). It’s a great tool, but with some glitches on Macs and won’t run on Word 2008. I just downloaded the Pro version and seems to work well, but haven’t found how to write more productively (I used to have a lot of words filled in automatically with the autocorrect command in the classic version). All in all, it is really good, but I would appreciate the comments too. I have to renew the license in one year and it is really expensive now!

Hello Claudia,
I'm a real beginner with CAT tools (never even tried it yet but very
eager to move ahead). Concerning the problem you described, I think
that others encounter it also, you can check at proz.com, there's a
group for Wordfast users. I'm sorry for not posting the exact link,
but I have read so much about CAT tools these last days...
What I understand is that it might be better for now to work with
Wordfast Classic and Word 2004.
