Description: The Senior QA Specialist will be responsible for participating in the internal and external auditing programs, and will participate in vendor management and process improvement efforts. Responsibilities of the position include: Prepares internal and external audit plans. Assists with development of audit strategies, Conducts routine audits of data, external partners, documents, and internal systems, Works with external partners and internal clients to develop corrective actions and preventative strategies, Monitors implementation of corrective actions and preventative strategies, Participates on internal and external cross-functional teams, Participates in cross training efforts (as trainer and trainee), Provides training to less experienced staff, Approximately 30% domestic and international travel required, Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Concentration(s) and/or Major(s): Basic or applied science (chemistry, biological sciences, pharmaceutical science). Required experience and/or qualifications include: At least 4 years experience in quality assurance and GMP auditing. Practical experience in the interpretation of international regulations and guidelines. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced training and/or experience in specific quality-related areas (validation, quality control, product disposition, etc.) is desirable.
