Description:   Major manufacturer of medical implantable devices has immediate opening for an Operations Director to support our dynamic growth. Primary job function will be the supervision of production, supply chain, product development, maintenance, facilities and logistics of all operations. Other responsibilities include:

*** Meeting with management and marketing teams to coordinate projects.

*** Implement lean manufacturing techniques to drive continuous improvement.

*** Develop processes and programs that optimize production efficiency specifically in the areas of material selection, manpower usage, and waste reduction.

*** ISO and OSHA compliance assurance.

*** Work with senior management to gather and evaluate business requirements through planned meetings, user-group work sessions, and individual interviews.

*** Driving sales efforts for finished products and generate new lines of business for the company.

Must Possess:

*** B.S. Engineering, Physics, or comparable field.

*** At least 5 years working in the thin film coating or medical device manufacturing industry primarily in a supervisory position.

*** Knowledge of vacuum systems, material handling, tooling, surface enhancement, and quality processes.
