* The applicant must be able to pay close attention to process control requirements for our can washing equipment, coolant filtration system, and wastewater treatment system. * This involves performing basic laboratory tests such as titrations, pH and conductivity measurements, and working with various types of pumps, mixers, chemical feeds, pH controllers and tank level reading equipment.ssJob Requirements
Job requirements for this position include, but are not limited to the following: * High school diploma
* 3-5 years of related experience
* The position requires a MA Grade 4I Wastewater Treatment Operators license, or a Grade 3I with the ability to upgrade to a Grade 4I in a short period of time. * In order to perform these duties the applicant must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without strain and needs to have a Quality First attitude and a strong team spirit to help keep equipment running within process specifications. * Must be able to perform basic laboratory tests such as titrations, pH and conductivity measurements. * Must have experience working with pumps, mixers, chemical feeds, pH controllers and tank level reading equipment. * Must be capable of working with shift members to achieve quality requirements by keeping equipment running within process specifications. * This full-time position will require working a night shift and working every other weekend.s Our Lawrence, MA location offers excellent compensation and benefits in a union environment, including medical/dental/life insurance, optical benefits, a union pension plan, 401(k) plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan and disability insurance.
