Description: The Director of Quality and Compliance is responsible for overall quality system including the ongoing management of information security policies, procedures and technical systems to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of Company's service offerings and their respective operating environments As a senior member of the Technical Operations Management Team, demonstrate leadership in areas of responsibility as well as general management Lead incident response teams for system security, availability and integrity incidents ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (in order to be considered for this position, the individual must be able to perform essential functions listed below): • Develop, evangelize and grow the Quality and Compliance organizational roadmap • Interface with Customers and Partners; represent the company in areas of security and compliance • Hire, manage, develop and train staff • Implement, manage and enforce security directives as mandated by HIPAA/HITECH • Provide direction and strategy to ensure ongoing integration of information security with business strategies and requirements • Oversee change management, access control, business continuity / disaster recovery, risk management and incident response protocols and procedures • Maintain quality records including service level, availability, incident, risk analysis and root cause analysis reports • Lead information security awareness training initiatives to educate workforce and maintain training records • Orchestrate and participate in all security and compliance audit activities • Perform risk assessments and internal audits to ensure adequate security practice and maintain HIPAA certification requirements • All other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: • Four year degree or equivalent work experience required • 10+ years in a technology role • 4+ years of information security experience • 3+ years in a senior, supervisory or management role • Experience in the management of both physical and logical information security systems • Strong technical skills including but not limited to application, operating system hardening, vulnerability scanning/assessing, security audits, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network technology, etc. • Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal attributes • In-depth knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH security regulations and other government technology laws • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or other industry standard certification in security focused discipline required QUALIFICATIONS: • Team focused • Strong customer orientation (both internal and external customers) • Strong leadership • Clear and concise communication, both written and oral • Presentation skills for internal and external communications • Ability to understand corporate goals, and provide well-thought out options to any given problem taking those goals into account • Business risk management
