Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced USB o-scope?  The only one I've seen so far that I like (just scratched the surface) was the $249 MSO-19 on sparkfun.   https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9263

What are you going to be using it for?

General stuff, 555 signals, i2c signals etc.

Eh, the USBEE is alright: http://www.usbee.com/

Really, you have to start spending $1000+ to get a USB scope worth writing home about.  You can spend $350 on a bench scope, and be much happier.

That does look interesting.  I think its the leader at this point in terms of my list.

Too bad they don't have a hackerspace discount (or educational nonprofits such as LVL1).  They do have a student discount for those of you still in school though.

If you are a student, or could find one, looks like it is $99

Yeah, thought of that, but it seems a little dirty.  I respect them cutting the price for students, and I don't want to abuse that, but thats just me, no judgements on anyone else, promise!

I sent them an email asking if the $159 academic applies for non-commercial use, as well as if they could offer a hackerspace discount.
