As a reminder I'll be bringing in my vintage waffle iron and making waffles Tuesday for dinner; please bring your appetite and any favorite toppings you may have.

I could be convinced to bring in one of my cast-iron skillets to fry some bacon if someone wants to buy some (and let me know).

Topping ideas:

powdered sugar
fruit (cut up or in jams/jellies)
flavored syrups
etc.

Let your imagination run wild.

Comments, suggestions, and questions are welcome...

Anybody going to chime in and say if they're bringing bacon?  C'mon, anti-vegetarians out there -- this is THE anti-vegetarian spite project/food.  :-D

Anyone planning on bringing anything?

I too will bring a Waffle Iron

It is not as old-fashioned as the ones you have…. It is actually a new and improved “modern” round thing…..

Modern? Well, Plates are round, waffles are round…. Who’d a think it….

If you are still able to get to your frying pan, I will bring bacon.  Let me know before 5.

Oh I'll bring it!  And a little grease shield so flaming hot bacon grease doesn't burn the piss out of anyone nearby.

You see that, my waffles bring all the boys to the yard...  I could teach you but I'd have to charge...

;-P

PS Some of you will laugh, some of you will be confused.  Both works for me.  ;-P

Thanks Brian!  And special thanks to Danielle Blank for the brownies and for the bacon (the name of the donor is escaping me momentarily).

It looks like the Tuesday Pot Luck Dinner idea is taking off; we've got some great stuff already planned out.  I'm contemplating adding at least the main course food item to the calendar if the membership thinks that'd be appropriate -- or perhaps there's some other way to make it easy for people to see what's going on food wise so they can plan their own involvement (either consuming or bringing).  Ideas?
