Order your 2012 LVL1 Shirt now!

Shirt orders CLOSE at 11:59pm, 6/27/2012.  This *might* be your only chance to order this shirt!

You chose design 7.b, and it looks like Pat got his wish: "Louisville" is now possessive.
This year, there is one choice for Men's cut, and 3 (count 'em) choices for Women's cut shirts.

How this works:
You must choose a color.  The color must be EXACTLY what is listed on the Gildan website.
If your color selection does NOT exactly match a color name on the Gildan website, I will pick a color for you.

Sizes 2X and larger may not have all colors available.  If you pick a color that is not available in the size you want, I will contact you.
You must prepay with paypal or credit card.  If some hardship makes this impossible, contact me individually.
Pricing is kept as close to the *actual* price of the shirt as possible.  All profits (if any) will be donated to LVL1.

Shirt orders CLOSE at 11:59pm, 6/27/2012.  This *might* be your only chance to order this shirt!

If the site does not work *for any reason,* contact me immediately.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here.

Oh!  If you want your shirts shipped to you, that can be arranged.  Request it from me individually, and don't do that unless you're far away from the hackerspace.  Expect very long delays on shipped shirts.

If we order a shirt color that uses the same color as the ink in the design (like athletic grey or white), would the color of the ink be changed to compensate?  Or is Doug laughing as he reads this?

From the original concept: http://hauswear.com/lvl1/LVL_Tee_f7b.png

Dark shirts will have light ink / light grey fleur-de-lis.
Light shirts will have dark ink / dark grey fleur-de-lis.

There is probably *some* shirt color that you can pick that won't look good with either combination.  In those cases, pick another shirt color, you have over 60 colors to choose from, come on man.

We will divide the printing into two groups - Black ink printing on lighter color shirts and white ink printing on darker color shirts.

Granted, some shirt colors would look good with either black or white ink, but on those more neutral color shirts the deciding factor will be the one with the greatest scientifically measured contrast between ink and shirt color. (determined by tristimulus spectrophotometer sampling under 5000° K light source)*

The gray of the fleur de lis is intended to print right in the middle as 50% gray but this may have to be tweaked when printing on particular gray color shirts. The fleur de lis is supposed to be subtle, but certainly not invisible.

Would also rather not print any black ink on black shirt Ninja versions : )

*actually, this bit about the scientific testing is nonsense. I will be winging it as usual. You will have to trust me to make the best choice.

Now I am laughing.

Quick question regarding sizing.  Have we purchases shirts from this specific company before and if so does anyone have any comments in regards to the shirt sizes.  I got a medium the last time we got shirts and it was way to big for me, so I was going to get smalls this time, but my luck would be that this company runs their sizes slightly smaller and it would fit me like spandex.  Any info?

The only other shirt I have designed and printed for LVL1 was the White Star Balloon on Red. http://goo.gl/PGeC1  We print almost exclusively on "Gildan 2000 Ultra Cotton" 100% Cotton. These shirts are pre-shrunk and the sizing is very consistent from job to job and pretty standard as sized with other brands, but there have been several occasions where a shirt is simply mislabeled. We sort by size, so these oddballs are usually caught before imprinting.

Oh awesome. I have a few of the red whitestar shirts and I had even mentioned to Dan that I thought they were way above average quality from what I expect from most screen printers and that sizes were spot on.  That makes my ordering a 1000x easier now.  Thanks Doug!

For those of who waited until the last minute because those tiny colour swatches were simply too small to convey useful information, you might want to check out this page.  http://www.schulzy.com/Gildan_Colors.html  It has large photos of the actual shirt material, giving a much better representative of what the shirt will look like.  Or just join the rainbow brigade and get safety pink (thankfully not depicted).

For example:

Just FYI, from the website I just posted with T-shirt colours, "Safety Green" is basically off-white, like the reflective-type white used on green road signs.
