So, we're thinking about T-shirts again for Makerfaire.  Here's the design we're considering:

Front: Blank
Back: LVL1 Logo, text reading "If you see me running, the project was a success!"

If anyone has any thoughts, better ideas, or better execution, feel free to improve upon it!

I only have one real requirement for tshirts.  Must have a pocket to hold my ogg player.  The usual reason for not having a pocket is it's too hard/costly to print around the pocket.

I wonder if that holds true when the printing is on the back only.

You may have to learn how to sew a pocket on.  Sewing machines are not that hard to use and we have a couple at the space.

Typically you can these shirts with or without pockets.  Since there is nothing on the front, getting one with a pocket should not be hard.

Feel free to suggest alternate fonts, graphics, arrangements, or whatever.  This thread is to figure out whether the idea sucks or not.

Any thoughts about a design that could use elwire or leds to jazz it up (if the wearer wanted too)

Here's my rough, 30-minute contribution for a LVL1 T-shirt.  In order to inline it, I've temporarily added it to our logos page.

Here's something I started working on but haven't figured out how exactly to make it work on a shirt yet.  It's still very rough and probably missing three times as much as what I have included but it's at least turned out to be a pretty cool desktop background.

Shirt tagline: We Make Makers

I'm not an artist, but how about something with Newton's 1st law of motion

"A body at rest stays at rest"  (showing a stick figure on a couch)
"Unless acted upon by an external force"  (and something showing LVL1 having them creating stuff).

Aaron guessed it!
All photos I'm using are coming from the LVL1 Oculus flickr feed.  For the final version, I'd like to have alot more "Full Lenth" photos (head to toe), so the bottom row of people can all be standing.

Here is the shirt version... But first...

1. Yes, I know it's rather flashy (which i happen to think is fabulous and I would rock this shirt every day)
2. Yes, I know it's rather un-realistic to find a printer to do a full garment print.

If you get these T-shirts made, I'm gonna have to track down InfoJanitor (the guy next to me, who gave an awesome talk at DerbyCon) and take a picture of us together rocking the shirts!
