Did someone need tins? I brought over something like 4or 5 *dozen* clean/empty penguin mint tins and donated them a while back. They were in 2 white USPS flat-rate boxes IIRC. They may still be on the shelves by the door, marked as general donation bits for consumption. If someone needs a few more I'm sure I still have some I kept for projects (so I have at least 8 or 10 in my desk drawer).

The Altoid gum tins were the original mintyboost tins, and they don't make the gum anymore, so they're hard to find.  If the tins you dropped were about these size (I haven't seen the ones you are referring to) then they would definitely be of use during any mintyboost workshops.

Penguin Mint Tins are roughly 3.75"x2.5"x.75", so the same size of altoids mints tins, not the thinner gum ones. Side by side below. I brought some of the gum-size ones as well, but I think those disappeared instantly :)

They look perfect for mintyboosts and other projects as well.  The regular size Altoid tins (which yours look like) are also great for mintyboosts because you can upgrade to a 3 battery source.  Some people like the smaller ones for sleekness, but I prefer more capacity myself with the larger tin.

Yup. If you need any let me know. I buy Penguin Mints by the case and my friends get them at cost w/ the caveat being I get the empties for my trouble of ordering them/having them on hand :)

They are ALIVE!. Last sighting Saturday night, in the bone yard.

I think they’re trying to reproduce over under the cable pile

I guess the mourning period is now over since there's activity on the listserv.

If someone needs the smaller tins for a project, I've got 5 or 6 of the tins pictured on the left.  They appear to be the same basic size as the Altoid gum tin on the right, but the opening is at the top.
