It's not too heavy but it's not exactly light, either.  I haven't weighed
it so I can't give a figure.  I'd guess 10 pounds or so?  Just a blind
guess.

It was taken from the trash by a friend of mine who asked that I make it
work for him.  They were going to use it as a night-light at the business
but have never bothered to pick a place to mount it and run a wire.  I
expect they'll *eventually* get around to doing this someday but they're
not in any kind of hurry.  This is why it's on loan with a "do not hack"
notice on the wiki; it may need to be returned eventually.

If you examine the unit you will note the damage it took before it was
discarded by the city; there's a large hole in the side of the housing.
I've not bothered to patch the hole as it's use now is strictly indoors and
it's not structurally dangerous.  Given that it was essentially rescued
from a trash-heap (without trespassing or any other illegal act) I believe
it to be entirely legal -- I wouldn't have brought it to the space (or my
house) if I felt it'd get me or anyone else into any trouble.  It's is
assuredly NOT stolen.
