Hey Everyone,
I'm feeding the camera feed from the ROV's front camera to a Google+ On-air session.  You can see it from regular old youtube or join the hangout on google plus.  Water is pretty clear during this dive and looks decent on the stream.  Of course I don't expect there to be much stuff that's SUPER exciting to most people, but the stream is up for those who are interested. Oh yeah, I LOVE GOOGLE+ ON-AIR HANGOUTS!

The youtube streaming quality isn't anywhere near as good as what I actually get straight from the ROV

I'm actually adding a depth sounder transducer to the bottom of the ROV today to allow it to maintain around 12" distance from the floor on it's own while it navigates.

THIS IS REALLY BAD!

My tether is caught on something right above me and I'm pinched in between two walls and a metal beam.  I can't move forward because I'm pinched, and I can't move backward because of the walls, can't turn because of the beam, and I'm 40' down!   Curiosity might kill R.O.V.'s too!

No, no one contact any divers, the video stream isn't live.  Its from earlier this week. :) I'm just letting it play through the entire dive.

He is an instructor diver – used to teach at Key Largo, among other places

I actually made contact before the waveoff….

You right, "stream" probably does imply live.  I will make sure to append the work "Pre-Recorded" from now on.  But... it's good to know someone who knows a good diver.  I don't doubt for a second that this will be the last time I push the limits on where this little ROV can handle going.  I need a major list of emergency divers to call!
