This is fantastic! I'm very eager to attend! I run the rocketry group at LVL1 and current electrical engineering & integration captain for the U of L competition rocket team, which competes in the NASA USLI competition. I've spread the word to this group of equally eager senior & graduate engineering students.

Hi all,

Techshot (www.techshot.com) will be at LVL1 on Tuesday Aug 7th at 7:15pm to give a short presentation about our company and to talk about some positions we will be hiring for.  We would like any interested persons to attend.  We will stay around to answer questions and get to know the group and see LVL1 projects during the normally scheduled meeting.

Techshot has won a couple large NASA contracts to develop two more payloads for the International Space Station.  To support these projects we are looking to hire highly innovative engineers and techs to develop mechanical, electrical, electromechanical and software interfaces for these systems.  We are looking to fill the following positions (some but not all of the full position descriptions are on our website):

 1.  Electrical engineer.  The ultimate candidate will have experience designing circuit boards and programming micros and/or graphical user interfaces.

2.  CAD designer.  We use Autodesk Inventor.

3.  Software engineer.  This position may not be filled until early next year but we will need a programmer or two.

4.  We are also interested in making contacts with folks who are expert PLC programmers.  We typically hire our PLC programming and panel design and builds out and would like to have more options.

5.  We are open to talking to folks who are not engineers but who can design and program at the level we will need.

Attached is a short PowerPoint talking a little about what we do at Techshot.

We would love to meet the talented folks at LVL1 and see who might be interested in working at Techshot.  I hope to get to meet many of you personally.

 Tony

Looking forward to it Tony. I just finished working on a project for NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, that involved interfacing ISS experiments with the ExPRESS Logistics Carriers and the ISS's fiber optic HRDL network. So it will be interesting to hear what types of payload you are sending up!

We'll see anyone interested at 7:15.  Heading out in a bit.  We are looking forward to seeing the LVL1 space and projects during your regular meeting.
