A quick reminder about our KyOSS meeting at 6:30 p.m. tonight at LVL1:

Here's what appears to be coming together:
  • Deven Phillips will show-and-tell us about Android x86 installed on an Acer Aspire One netbook.

  • Mike Andrew will tell us about IPv6, the technology that promises to save us from ever running out of IP addresses ... if we know how to use it.

  • Ben Fitzpatrick will show us Open SuSe Linux version 12.2 running on Virtual Box.

  • We can expect an update from Mozilla Louisville (Alex Hagerman, Altin Ukshini, et al.)

  • And also, Altin will update us on the plans for an Open Source conference in Louisville this spring. (This is something we need to be planning in earnest if it is to come together. If you're interested in helping, please make yourself known to altin or me!)

  • Plus: Pizza (donations accepted), chips, cookies, and soda!

These are all ad-hoc discussions and presentations. Feel free to come with your own topics to add to the conversation!

See you tonight!

John
