Does anyone have some ideas or thoughts on dinner after the meeting tonight?
I'm recovering from my surgery (it went well - extraordinarily painful but
well) and not really up to making anything complex. That said I may have
an idea if I can get a ride and some extra hands. Basically a modification
of the childhood "pork and beans" meal for grown ups using baked beans and
smoked sausage instead, served with cheezits. Fairly cheap and easy to
make at home -- especially when you're not feeling up to cooking. I am
assuredly not; I feel like Rambo punched me in the kidney a few dozen
times. That said this meal only requires a ride and someone to pour stuff,
cut stuff, and stir -- so I'd not need any complex help.
Of course I'm VERY open to alternatives or someone else making
something... VERY open. So if you've got an idea tonights a great night
to try it out! :-) So -- let's talk dinner!
