So much more stylish than tin-foil.  If only they made hats.

Reminds me of one of my favorite Frasier clips

Frasier:  "So caller, why are you angry at your dog?"
Caller:  "Because he keeps telling me to remove my foil helmet!!!"

That's funny, because I'm now a ham radio geek and while in the USMC, was
stationed with Communications Company, Headquarters Battalion, 4th Marine
Division.  We had faraday tarps, although we didn't call them that, and we
didn't use them to sleep under.  There really are people that have medical
conditions that make them EMF sensitive.  The idea is neither unsound nor
new.  Whether or not you need them is inmaterial.

Yeah, but if you look at the site... It is NOT slanted to medical needs patients
It is a site designed to separate pinheads from as much money as possible
Gee, you can even get a pair of anti EMF boxer shorts....

Well, they'd be very practical if you were in the middle of a violent
protest and the cops broke out the active denial systems.

How so?  If you were in a violent protest, you would want to get the hell out of there anyway.  Unless, of course, you were part of the protest.  In that case, it might help against the active denial system, but it would also give them an excuse to resort to more forceful means, from rubber bullets to live rounds.

Besides, the trench coat doesn't cover the face.  So they could either aim for that, or have their satellites beam messages of compliance to your dental implants and control you that way.  Damnit, "The Man" thinks of everything!

On a related note, I have a business proposal for everyone:

Step 1.  Start selling EMF-blocking mouth guards.
Step 2.  ?????
Step 3.  Profit!!!

Come on Raj,  two items below the trenchcoat is the EMF face shield.
Tie the outfit together with some EMF underwear, EMF socks, and a
grounding strap for your shoe.  Call me Mr. Faraday and beam me full
of electromagnetic radiation.

Sooooooooo...  You're saying you want to invest in my EMF-blocking mouth guards, right?  Cause I've totally got like millions and billions of dollars in investors already, but if I can help a fellow hacker invest his life savings into this and become a billionaire I would rather go that route.  You know, cause I'm totally humanitarian and stuff like that.  I mean I don't even eat okra cause they're also called lady's fingers.  You don't get more enlightened than that.

I'll shoot you a separate email with the banking info so you can send me lots of money.  I happen to do my banking in Nigeria, but that's only so that "The Man" can't get his grubby mitts on all of it.
