Hi.

Anyone here have chops with identifying potential mem issues on a
linux/fedora platform.

I've got a test app, uses gearman/python/php/mysql, and it appears to
be crashing due to php mem issues. I'm trying to get my hands around
exactly what the underlying issues causing the prob are.

My days of being the serious dev are long over, so if someone with the
dev skills is willing to sit down with me for a few, i'd appreciate
it!

Thanks

ps. i'd even bring pizza!

Hey Ben,

Yeah, expanding the php mem size for the give php script/german worker
works, but that's sloppy coding IMHO!!

Unless the running app really requires the use of X megs of mem,
simply increasing the mem size means your app isnt well behaved. I'm
from the old school when mem alloc/dealloc were routinely used to deal
with mem issues, and shared/semephores etc...

So, i'd really like to be able to dig into wht's the issue with either
the gearman child worker (php), or the actual child function that's
being run (python) by the gearman worker..

So, if there's anyone with the tools/skills/lchops to slog through
this with me for a few, much appreciation!!

thanks
