I love the looks of what you guys are doing, sadly I live in Etown so the drive up is hard to afford too often. I was wondering how does it work if you are not a dues paying member? I would love to have someone show me more about some stuff, and i have a halloween project I am working on that would be awesome to have your help with, but i just dont see much info other than "come to a Tuesday meeting". Any insight you could give would be awesome.
The refrain "Come to a Tuesday night meeting" is common because it really
*is* the best way to get your questions answered... That said I understand
it's a bit of a drive from there.
If you're not a dues-paying member all you really need is to know that one
is at the space and then to show up -- we're generally open to the public
anytime a member is present (not always -- but usually). Tuesdays are the
best time to talk about your project and recruit interested parties who
might want to help out.

Tuesday night is the only night you can predictably say someone will be at
the space. On the other hand if you were to throw out some possible meeting
time there surely will be some members willing to meet up with you.

That seems cool then I'll have to try to make it up either next week or the the next, I was wondering if I wanted to print something using the makerbot about how much does it cost so I could bring enough money I am very unfamiliar with 3D printing as it is. Is the space just open door on Tuesdays?
Unless you're going to be printing a truly *massive* amount of plastic,
don't worry about supplies for the makerbot. (You definitely can't do
enough printing on a single Tuesday to bother).
The way it works is as follows: You can come to the space any time there
is a member present who will let you in. Tuesday nights, this is
absolutely guaranteed. There are people at the space between 6pm and 11pm,
and often beyond those hours. Other days of the week are more varied,
however. You're welcome to stop by, but if no one's there, then you've
wasted your time. You're also welcome to shout out to this mailing list
and ask if anyone intends to be at the space at a particular time. Weekday
evenings and weekend days are the most popular times, so if you ask, it's
likely that someone will chime in to say, "I'll be around."
