We understand why you might be hesitant to purchase a device with uncertain coverage availability. Some users are able to successfully find coverage even when our map says there is no coverage in an area, so I would recommend giving it a try. If you order now and find that you don't have coverage, you may be eligible for a hassle-free device upgrade at no additional cost to you when we integrate into the nationwide Sprint network in just a couple of months. This will allow you to try us out and become familiar with our service before we upgrade in just a few months - it's a great deal! You are guaranteed to receive the best service available. Let us know what you decide.
I have sprint and we haven't had any type of 4G yet in Louisville as far as I know. It has been "coming" for several years now. Now that they switched from Wi-Max, it seems Sprint users in Louisville may have to start the wait all over again.

Which "Sprint 4G" though? They've essentially abandoned their WiMax
deployment in favor of an LTE deployment. Unfortunately they brand both
services "4G" (...must resist going into my %dG rant...)
I believe Bluegrass.net turned up a WiMax POP downtown a few years ago, but
if I recall correctly, it is optimized for stationary point to point links
rather than mobile use.

Clear (who provides sprints wimax) has a single tower in the city I
believe... The web site showed it last I checked.
