This is the meeting place of the NIT Durgapur, Linux Users' Group, Software Development Unit.  This group officially began its operation on 29th February, 2008, which started with the first post to this group. This group was founded with these ideals:

1) Contribute to the opensource movement

2) Make a mark for yourself and your college

3) Learn and teach others (inspired by dgplug motto)

4) Be an Engineer in the true sense of the word

The people who are members of this Google group are also the members of the LUG SDU. We meet once a week in the college building to discuss new hacks that we have been trying. Eventually, the aim of this group is to inspire all CSE and IT students to start playing with source code and realise how much power and freedom Linux gives us as students.
