saya ada P4 2,4Ghz 512 RAM, HD 80GB, saya ingin install linux yang
hardware requirementnya tidak tinggi, mudah dioperasikan, dan
multimedia ready serta bisa menjalankan beberapa program yang dibuat
under w****ws, kira-kira ada saran untuk distronya? terima kasih.

P4 2.4 Ghz dgn RAM 512 lu bilang ga tinggi , heheh
gw aja pake P4 2.0Ghz + RAM 1GB disini , lancar2 aja dgn Ubuntu
RAM 256MB aja masih OK2 aja tuh ..

hehehe...aku pikir kaya si Mi***S*ft makin baru OS hardwarenya harus
tinggi.
jadi pake ubuntu ya? mudah gak tuh? kalo tadi barusan browsing,
statement ubuntu boleh juga (linux for human being). entar wa coba
deh, sekarang yang baru versi berapa? 7.10 itu ya?

Distro yang mudah dioperasikan berdasarkan spesifikasi pc Anda adalah:

- OpenSuse 10.3
- PCLinux OS 2007
- Mandriva One 2008
- Linux Mint 3.0 atau 3.1

Distro di atas insya Allah sudah multimedia ready.

Untuk bisa menjalankan beberapa program yang dibuat under w****ws
dapat menggunakan paket aplikasi :

- Wine
- CrossXover (wine yang disempurnakan)
