Someone needs to fix the linux repo on campus.
Not a day goes by without encountering "503 OUT OF DISK SPACE" whenever i try to install/update anything. Can't even download modules of a few kBs now.

It's hard to believe that this cannot be fixed. Probably a system administrator who has the time/interest to manage[one who can find & solve the problem] the repo, and one who actually uses linux should be appointed.

I am more than willing to help manage the server but Nihant voiced some genuine concerns. Apparently, the disk space allocated is way too less and they won't let him have remote access. Nevertheless, there are a few things that need to be fixed. Haven't had time to discuss.

Phani Kumar,
Nothing much to brag about.

I will see what can be done. I hope to get you another space, maintained by those who love and promote GNU/Linux.

That would be brilliant. There has been a steady increase in the number of Linux adopters in our campus and I guess a stable and reliable repository server is more of a necessity than a luxury. Thanks :)
