Binary dependencies

Just curious why some of the binary dependencies (Moq, StructureMap,
etc) aren't checked into a location in the trunk. I see that Troy
specifically pulled Moq.dll from the tree. Ideally, we'd have these
living off the resource directory. It's kind of a pain to resolve
these, and at least in the test project that I pulled down, the Moq

ILock, Disposable or Not?

All,
Sergey has finished up the interfaces for the lucere.io.concurrency
namespace. One of the core interfaces, ILock, seems like it could
benefit from implementing IDisposable.
I'd like to open the discussion on that specific refactoring point.
Does this sound like a good idea? Can anyone envision any problems

-this could have more .NET-like interface

* lucere.stream.diagnostic.IStat us
-Names seem like a method names, rather than properties.

Does anyone have any experience in setting up a chat room of some kind
that Lucere dev's can sign into.
Only last night I had three GChat sessions on the go at the same time.
Would be good to know who else is
online and have the option to ask questions etc.

I spent some time working with the code this weekend and I have come
to a few conclusions. I apologize upfront that I'm going to be
contradicting things I said just a few days ago regarding which
version of Lucene to work from, how to do it and the .NET framework.

All,
This post is meant to get the discussion started about designing the
new API. As a side note, I'm cross posting this to the mailing list.
What I'd love to see are some sort of "top down" pseudo-code snippets
that show how you envision a new API interacting with your code.
Some ideas/questions:
