Port related statistics

[option_analyser]

I wanted statistics on operational efficiency parameters such as
average pre-berthing waiting time, average vessel turnoaround time,
containerisation rates etc of various leading international ports

these stats seem to be damn hard to find, however hopefully they might
be avaialble somewhere on web-sites or in some report...would feel
very thankful if someone can help me on the same

I am doing mostly for tanker turnarounds. The pre berthing is basis vsl arrivals on a agreed specific arrival date range(usually 3 days) and also subj to berth availability. in any case vsl were to be late or earlier than the agreed date range, her berthing will again depend on berth availability. if there is any waiting time incurred its all subj to berth availability again and on a 1st come 1st serve basis. this applies across to all shipping calls. the average turnaround for a container ship at singapore is either a 12hr or 24hr, an average loading and unloading is with about 42-48 movements per hour using 2 dock cranes. rates wise guess you got to consult the port of singapore for more info.
