Im working with a consumer goods company in bangalore,India.cany anyone give me the factors to be considered for evaluating transporters.

 

 Im looking for transporters for pan India operation request you to suggest few  transporters name  for the same.

I thaink you should consider folliwng points before selcting the transportation. Detail as,

1- Transportation company profile.

2- Transportaion company credibility in the market.

3- Transport company network 7 trsnaport operation facilities (trucks / trollers / vans) & etc..

4- Transport company using latest tools & techniques in there systems.

5- Is there any warehousing facility is also providing that company.

6- How much systems / educated workers are working to follow the international labour laws.

Such as...is a sales quotation, jobs (works) quotation, contract quotation, purchase quotation, etc....

The above may have the same fundemental, but with different purposes and contents. Sometimes, software of such format may differ for different software creator.

Most importantly I may think of (I am no expert) is, what you needs or requires are spell out clearly in the contract. Especially the terms of payment and shipping.

Shipping terms - we are talking about using the correct INCOTERMS.

Payment terms - TT remittance/Bank guarantor : incurring of bank charges
