Sorry to hear that you haven't come right. Sounds like your oil pump is
maybe not pumping properly. Question, have you smacked your sump recently?
The sieve on the oil pickup sits very close to the bottom of the sump so if
you dent your sump from underneath you can actually starve the pump of oil.
Saw that at Independent 4x4 recently. Or maybe the sieve is blocked or the
oil pickup has come loose.
Have you tried cranking the engine with your finger over the hole where the
switch goes to see if there is oil pressure? If need be give me a shout and
I will come and help!

If you try what Dave mentions and there is still no pressure, it could be either the oil pump or even just the spring.
Both are not great to get to (need to remove the sump and a few other bits)
There is a cheat for tentioing the spring and that's to put a coin in the sleeve. But if you are that far in removing bits to fix the spring, you might as well just put a new one in.

Another prognosis is that the relief valve is stuck open! If the oil pickup
is clean etc., then that has to the next most likely cause. Take the cap off
and see if there is gunge in there but beware the cap that holds the relief
valve in place is a bastard to get undone. I needed a hammer and chisel to
get mine undone but be careful as it sits in the aluminium timing housing so
you need to be gentle. Also if the piston is stuck I do not know how you
would get it out from underneath the vehicle?
When you take the sump off just have a look at what might be lying in the
bottom as this will tell you a story. I found pieces of a valve cap which
had been well and truely chewed up on it's way to the sump!!
