I thought some here might be interested in this proposal for Schema.org;
a sameThingAs property.

This might play a role in referatory markup...

Hi Greg,

Could you elaborate a bit more on referatory markup? Like what exactly is it, how is it going to be useful...
I know it might be a bit taxing but could you give an example of referatory markup and how to use sameThingAs property.

thanks
Vijendra

I was referring to the situation where people are going to use
Schema.org and LRMI to markup pages/resources in a referatory, ie: a
place that does not host the content itself but instead catalogs and
provides a search interface to do more specialized searches/filters/etc.

Regarding examples in general: it would be best if someone who is asking
for an example to first attempt to mark up a page with Schema.org and
LRMI and consult the mailing list when they hit a tough spot.

This is for two reasons:

1) I don't know exactly what kind of content you are thinking about, so
I have no idea what the example should look like. And the example could
indeed vary widely depending on a large number of factors.

2) It helps me and the rest of the LRMI Technical Working Group
understand where the pain points are in the specification. Seeing where
real world people (ie: not the TWG) marking up real world content (ie:
not made up examples) have a hard time, or don't have a hard time, is
valuable information.

Thanks,
