This Saturday the 14th the recently re-opened Harvey Milk Rec Center is having an open house from 11am to 2pm, see the attached flyer. Friends of Duboce Park is simultaneously having some kids activities in the upper park next to the rec center including jumpie houses and a hamburger stand.

 

As part of the acivities related to the Rec Center open house and park activities, we are having a free youth basketball clinic from 11:30am to 1:30pm. A couple of basketball instructors from another city recreation center are coming over to run it. It will be for kids ages 6 to 12 (basically 1st grade through 6th grade). Would you spread the word through local neighborhood networks. There isn't a flyer specifically for the basketball clinic but we did create a design for a larger banner which is attached here, that can be printed out in regular paper size. Hopefully the basketball clinic attracts a good turnout of kids from the neighborhood, and there will probably be some kids from McKinley school.
