FYI-

We had an attempted break-in at around 1:45am Saturday night on our ground level apartment on the 600 block of Haight between Pierce and Steiner. Our dog heard suspicious noises and alerted us from sleep. We heard the doorbell ring twice and then a loud bang on the door. I ran from the bedroom and must have scared the suspect off but not before the glass pane on our front door was broken. Police responded within minutes and searched the property for any suspects or evidence, they found none.
