The doorbell of my unit and my neighbors' units was ran ran several times in the last 24 hours (late yesterday, early this morning). Additionally, our front gate lock was damaged this evening.

Yesterday evening my girlfriend saw 2 black guys wearing black hoodies on their heads buzzing a few doors down from us (by Silky Touch).

We called the police who is coming out tonight to file a vandalism report.

Keep an eye out and lock your doors.

Marcello,

Thank you for filing the police report. This will help keep these things on the map. Keep an eye out everyone, and thanks for reporting here, too. I’m glad you’re all safe.

Best,

Thea

We just found out that our neighbors located on Webster (across from Germania) were broken into yesterday. I'm not sure of all the details but it seems that someone broke into their side alley door and used a garbage bin to get into a  bathroom window on the side of house before they ransacked the apartment. Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up. Sounds like there's been a lot of criminal activity in the neighborhood lately (we were broken into ourselves last October when someone broken the window in our front door) so it's probably a good idea to make a habit of locking your windows and deadbolting your doors for the time being.
