Saturday, 5/19 @ 9 AM: Lafayette Square planting and clean-up days
with community volunteers participating (that's you!) are the reason
that the park is such a a great place to come to for the concert
series, picnics, and other events. They grant public service credit
for students, so put a group together for a great group experience.
Tools and refreshments are provided -- all that we need to make this
happen is you!
Because of the lousy weather that was anticipated for Saturday,
5/12/12, the planting day was rescheduled to Saturday, May 19th at
9:00 AM to Noon. (The park is located at Poydras Street and St.
Charles Avenue.) Come pass a good time and make the Square look great!
