Seeking Participants for the New Orleans Citizens Police Academy

The New Orleans Police Department will begin a Citizen’s Police
Academy scheduled to meet one night per week beginning September 15,
2010. The curriculum and activities have been redesigned with various
enhancements from the first Citizen’s Academy.

The goal is to provide an interactive learning experience that will
provide an informed view of the New Orleans Police Department as well
as foster a positive, healthy relationship with the N.O.P.D. This type
of collaborative effort is essential in our fight against crime.
