Venerable Valley Church moving to Louisiana - By Gordon Delaney
This is a fantastic story, but really quite sad that area church populations are dwindling. I wonder about the history of this 200 year old Anglican church that will be erected in Louisiana and become a Baptist church? Oh! if the walls could talk!
"It was built at the behest of Charles Inglis, the first Anglican bishop of Nova Scotia and the first Anglican bishop appointed outside Britain."
"A monument incorporating the church bell will be erected at the site near the cemetery."
