Fuse box Series 1 Lotus 7...and exhaust manifold diameter

Hi – does anyone know the position of the fuse box on the Climax
engined Lotus 7 Series 1. I’ve got photos of Jack Richards car that
shows the fuse box not positioned on the dash.

Also does anyone have knowledge of the tube diameter used on the
Climax exhaust manifold.

Any help much appreciated.

My IX has a period FWA (1098) which makes 75hp on the two 1.5in SUs. The
primary exhaust header pipes are 1inch ID. I suspect that a more radical
engine might well use a slightly larger tube at the expense of some
flexibility. Mine is nicely flexible for a small engine and it gets the car
along quite well.
