Hello,

 

I will try this one more time....Arjay engine photos from library show girdle and main caps, 1st and 3rd with machined with bridge, bolted to girdle like all the others, aluminum 5 bearing cam carrier, oil scraper attached to the girdle (very time consuming), I think it needs a little more drain holes in the girdle, but doctors differ and patients die.

 

This engine died due to oil pick-up problems....1/2" pipe covered with screen filled with epoxy from MGB oil pump conversion...enlarged pick-up fixed the problem. Rod bolts had stretched, bearings scored....caught in the nick of time. Arjay paid the bill. All of the people that I know of that use Arjay are happy....
