Bryan, It's just a meetup, there's no set schedule. The meetup will be whatever we make it I suppose. My personal goal here is just to meet fellow HNers, shoot the breeze, and see what they're up to.

I already posted this as its own post, but I'm posting it here as
well, in case some here are only subcribed to this thread and not the
group in general.

IMPORTANT! CHANGE OF VENUE!

Hey guys, we got a lot of interest from today's HN post, so much in
fact that it's obvious that the Coffee Bean won't be able to handle us
as a group, today alone our group nearly quadrupled in size! CoLoft
has graciously donated space, not too far away from the original
meetup location that'll easily be able to handle us all.

My apologies for the short notice!

Hey there, I'm John Buckman. I run Magnatune and also BookMooch, and
I'm chairman of the EFF.

I'm really interested in meeting some LA HNers, as I'm in LA for 2
weeks to meet folks

Unfortunately, my flight into LA arrives at 4:30pm that day.

Any chance any of you will still be at the Cafe around 6pm? Or going
somewhere else for drinks?

John, we'll actually be at CoLoft, as the group grew too large for the Coffee Bean. If you'd like, give me a call at 323 552 8642 when you get in, and I'll let you know if anything else is going on, I'd definitely be up for a post-meetup drink.
