1.5TB in iflash cache?!!!

I have no idea how this happened. I've been using iFlash for a month or so and someone had given me their old set of 'flash cards' to use so I was updating it. the file itself is about 28Mb. Today for some weird reason my 2TB hard drive had zero space on it and after much searching it turns out that the cache folder for iFlash has a file named 'recdata.mov' that's 1.5TB!!! what the? I'll be honest and say that I'm not entirely sure what the function of a cache is for apps like this - i'm nervous about just deleting it because I'm worried about losing any of my flash cards (and updates and changes to the old set). Can I just delete this?
