I'm fairly certain that there will never be another update for this app, but Dropbox /Google Drive support would be an awesome addition for the iPhone app.
I would say iCloud support, but you couldn't sync this file to Apple's server.

I am curios if David abandoned this app for time concerns, contractual obligation, or loss of interest.

I still think this would be a great addition to the app for a couple of reasons.

1. It is just easier
2. Would allow checked/known items on iOS to be relayed back to OS X.
   

I am always updating decks and the inability to go from iOS to OS X is quite frustrating

Totally agree. I want cloud syncing too, as well as full editing capabilities in iFlash Touch.

The upcoming (within a few weeks) update to iFlash Touch won't have it though, as I need to unify the file formats between the Mac and iOS version before they can be synced together.

Cloud Syncing will be a part of the next major versions of iFlash and iFlash Touch though.
