Apparently I am an idiot. The 2003 vintage system,anti-virus,and
firewall on the 3 computers on our household net were no match for
hackers last night. After spam was sent using my email
cla...@comcast.net, I was cut off by comcast.. Replacing all the
software with brand new stuff after fdisk on the computers took until
now. I sincerely hope that nobody was seriously inconvenienced by this
criminal act. If there is a repetition I will ask the authorities to
investigate.
On the other hand you did not know that when you posted, or did you?
So is there anything in particular you consider idiotic besides the
general content of my posts ?

My network was hacked last night and today my D-Link AirPlus wireless
router is being jammed. I get a few seconds per minute of connect
time. So we may switch to hard cables....
