Also, I changed my password because somebody joined and posted without

the new post about a woman fighting monkey (which I deleted) then you
might be in trouble, because my anti-virus warned me that the web page

I was led to this YouTube interview of Obama by a discussion regarding
his college undergraduate thesis. By the way, if he has nothing to
hide from the American people, why is he not PROUD of that thesis? I
am reminded of the campaign of Ross Perot in 1992 in which he opened
up his entire history from childhood onward to public scrutiny BEFORE
the election. He received virtually all of the independent vote at
19%. This elected president keeps insisting that his background is
private and nobody's business. WHY???

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C02_cycle
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deforestation

Interesting articles. The global temperature has risen along with CO2
in the atmosphere during my lifetime. Global warming proponents point
to man made emissions while ignoring the obvious deforestation which
has occurred during that time span, especially in tropical south
America, southeast Asia, and Africa. Since it is politically incorrect
to tell those regions to STOP CHOPPING DOWN THE TREES, they seek to
impose draconian controls upon industrial nations. I suggest that
nations around the world should embark upon a reforestation campaign
on all lands with sufficient rainfall to support trees. Where trees
cannot be grown, plant crops. Where crops cannot be grown, build
cities, razing cities built upon cropland as the newer cities are
built. To me that makes MUCH more sense than taxing emissions. Ever
play the Amiga game "Global Effect"? You had to constantly tinker with
your cities' output of CO2, keeping it in balance with forests to
avoid a global ice age or greenhouse effect death. The shortsighted
politicians are ignoring the balance required between plants and
animals, focusing only upon the animal (human) generation of CO2 while
ignoring the necessary plant conversion of atmospheric CO2 into O2.
But what is my opinion worth, after all I am CRAZY...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peak_oil
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coal_gasification
The depletion of oil reserves is offset by new discoveries and
production made possible by a higher price per barrel of oil As the
price increases, oil shale extraction of petro-fuel stocks will become
competitive. Coal gasification also is a possible technology of the
future for supplying fuels. So America has plenty of energy reserves
if the price of imported fuels rises beyond tolerable levels. As Dirty
Harry says "Go ahead, make my day".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grain_product
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_hunger
is the reason why. America is self sufficient in grain crops for its
population. The same is NOT true for other regions of the world such
as the middle east where oil is produced. When the price of oil goes
up, the fuel cost for farmers goes up. Most of them (not being fools)
will store their crop in silos rather than sell it at a loss. So
higher oil prices yield higher food prices, translating to long term
global starvation. India, China, and Bangladesh (the top three) take
note.

The U.S.A. has the best natural resources combined with population in
the world. People DIE trying to immigrate to the U.S.A., and no other
nation in the world can compare with the dream of coming to America.
Our biggest problem is not the nation or its people but the colossal
federal government beast devouring our nation at an ever accelerating
pace. I called for a Constitutional Convention to be held in 1987 in
my Sept 1986 publication "Freedom Computing Publications HotDisk 1".
The reason was the 200th anniversary of the original one. I expect
that the depression (not just a recession) facing the U.S.A. today
will squeeze the states beyond tolerable limits. It is already
happening in California. When enough states get squeezed, the federal
government will no longer be able to bail them out with inflated
dollars. At that point the states should call for a CC if not before.

Is that terrifying to the folks in Washington, or do they have a game
plan to pre-empt the states? Only time will tell, perhaps as soon as
the 2010 elections. In the meantime, if I had money (which I do NOT),
I would be investing in real estate, stocks of sound corporations, and
durable compact commodities such as gold. I would divest government
bonds and stay "land rich but cash poor" as the saying goes.

This list is the same as in the previous post. I added two numbers

Compare the United States to Mexico in that ranking. I guess that with
all of the complaints about government being corrupt in the U.S.A., we
lose track of how much worse things could be....

so far as that trash is concerned - it is a pipe dream. I pledge
allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the
Republic for which it stands, ONE NATION, under GOD, INDIVISIBLE, with
liberty and JUSTICE for ALL. If the federal government betrays that
NATION, then it will be peacefully voted out and all of its errant
legislation repealed come 2011. That is all that I care to say on the
subject.

I wrote new words for two traditional tunes today, which I hereby
declare to be public domain!

Scotland The Brave :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjCWLtlmuT0

This first verse has an extra syllable for the bagpipe inhale…
1)
Down with career politicians, 1 -7
and raise up the nation's banner! 1 -7
For those tyrants shall never rule over free men! 1 - 11
For now a new day is dawning - 1 -7
when the great peoples' voice is heard! 1- 7
We will never let foul government hammer us down! 1 - 11

chorus :
Those who falsely represent - 7
have taken over OUR hallowed -7
halls and the peoples' will cannot ever withstand! -11
Harrow out the scoundrels, - 7
send them back home or to dark - 7
jail cells either choice will do - just pitch them OUT! - 11

2)
Let Liberty's light shine forth, - 7
into the darkest corners, -7
cleansing our nation, of their grossly foul deeds! -11
Let Nation's true Patriots - 7
arise to hold their office - -7
we'll hold them accountable - for all they do! -11

3)
In twenty-ten we'll take back - 7
Our own nations' capitol -7
Unless those foul scoundrels cheat us at the polls! -11
If that happens then we must -7
exercise our States' own rights -7
to recall those bureaucrats home to be whipped! -11

4)
For socialism is surely - 7
not what our founders meant by -7
life, liberty and pursuit of happiness -11
Responsibility -7
requires personal choices -7
not forced feeding government regulations! -11

5)
There is no such thing as a -7
free lunch, because somebody else -7
always must pay for government 'benefits'! -11
Entitlements are choking -7
our nation to bankruptcy! -7
We won't stand idly by while losing real jobs! -11

6)
National debt interest -7
will choke out investments by -7
draining capital from the money supply! -11
So we must not tolerate -7
any deficit spending -7
our children's inheritance is at stake here! -11

---------------------------------------------
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nQncqR9WN4
Traditional tune - Danny Boy
1)
Obama man, your leadership is pitiful! -11
You should resign, and give Biden a whirl! -10
You should go back to your old town Chicago! -10
If they will have you, which I really doubt! -10

chorus :
Your poll results are falling like a lead balloon! -12
There is no chance you'll win in twenty twelve! -11
So you should crawl off to some lonely far off place! -12
Else you will soon be impeached in disgrace! -12

2)
What were you thinking to say pass Health Care Reform? -12
Is Congress passing what you really meant? -10
If that is so, your head should be examined! -11
Thousands of pages are by far too much! -10

1) Make up a plan for reaching your goals. Identify precisely what the
goal(s) may be. PRECISION IS ESSENTIAL.
2) Draw up a slip-chart with each of the goals as an endpoint along
the lines of progress.
3) Identify the dependencies - those conditions which must be met
along the path of progress toward goals before any further progress
along the path can occur.
4) Identify derivatives - those factors which affect the RATE at which
progress is made.
5) Identify the dependencies which control the derivatives. THIS IS
ESSENTIAL.
6) Satisfy the dependencies of step 5 as soon as possible,
accelerating the rate at which progress occurs.
7) When goals interact with shared dependencies, focus upon those
goals which must be met sooner rather than later. BUT NEVER FORGET the
later dependencies because it is possible that satisfying them may
require a long lead time.
8) Constantly refine your plan because as you learn more about the
factors needed to satisfy your goals, the old slip chart becomes
obsolete.
9) As dependencies are satisfied, divert resources toward the next
priority, but always keep an eye upon past progress because retrograde
factors may cause you to lose ground on old dependencies and
derivatives.
10) If you can find a derivative which controls progress on another
derivative, make it a top priority.
