Good morning Proud Tigers!

Today's lunch is hamburger or lo mein and egg rolls. . Try one of
those options.  A hot lunch will help you focus all day.

Did you know that if you procrastinate on your work, you create
unnecessary stress for yourself.  But if you finish your work on time,
and do your best, then you feel good about yourself.  Wouldn’t you
rather feel good about yourself??  Of course you do.  And if you do
your best in school, your HOW grade will show it. And then your
teachers and family will be proud of you.  So, make yourself feel
good.  Do your best.

Check your grades regularly on Powerschool.  That way you can take
care of any missing assignments early.  Learn to be responsible.  You
will go farther in life that way.  If you do not know how to access
your own Powerschool, see one of the counselors.  We can help you.
Take control of your life so others do not have to control you.

Our theme this month continues with PRIDE.  Stay tuned for our Day of
Silence assemblies tomorrow, 5th and 6th periods,  Wednesday and our
morning of silence on Thursday.  We stand together against bigotry and
discrimination.  We are proud of all of our students. Thank you to the
GSA students who are coordinating this event with our counseling team.

The counseling team and room 1 is here to help you.  But if you come
here under false pretenses, you will not have this privilege.  Use
room 1 when you need emotional and or academic support.  BUT always
get your teachers permission.  And do not excuse yourself to
counseling.  Ask for a counselor, and someone will come to get you.
Do not just walk yourself down here during class time.  Counselors are
available before school, after school and during lunch.

All Yosemite students:  During the last ten minutes of sixth period,
you will head to the theater to have an all-Yosemite trip meeting.
This is a very important time for us to go over the packing list,
rules and expectations with ALL Yosemite participants.  Students on
the waiting list should not attend.  We will be sure to give you all
the information should you get in.

This is one time we will allow you to bring your backpacks.

If you are yelling at your friends, try something new.  Try using a
quiet voice and see if you get more of what you want.

As the weather warms up, please remember appropriate school attire.
Everyone’s shorts must be longer than where you fingertips reach on
your thighs.  No bra straps must show, and all tops must have shoulder
covering.  Present yourself how you want to be treated.  Look like you
respect yourself and others are more likely to respect you.

Morning safety issues.  Like lunch time, in the morning you need to be
where we can supervise you.  If you do not have a 0 period, and you
chose to get here early, go towards the basketball courts where there
is a safety officer to keep you safe.

POW! This week's POW is the same as last week's POW.
It's called TEDIOUS TALLIES! Solutions are due Thursday by 3:30 in
front of Ms. Warburton's room.

6th grade boys basketball clinic will start at 4 pm today.

Softball practice will start at 3:45 pm.
